Inside the WAW Madness

What It Was Like to Crew Sean Clifford on His 2,700km Wild Atlantic Way Run

By Alicja Pilarska · · Adventures

Running the rugged coastline from Donegal to Kerry in 10 epic days.

Pushing far beyond what the body — and mind — should be capable of

I still don’t have the perfect words for what happened over those thirty days, and maybe I never will. It was simply a long, hard month on the road with a man who wanted to see whether he could run the entire Wild Atlantic Way in one go. That’s all. And somehow that turned into something none of us will forget.

How do you capture the rawness, the suffering, the courage, and the unfiltered humanity of someone pushing far beyond what the body — and mind — should be capable of?

I guess you start where all great adventures begin:
