Run the Ridge has become one of Ireland’s most respected and scenic mountain trail races. Set deep in the Wicklow Mountains National Park, it starts and finishes at Laragh GAA grounds, right beside the village of Laragh. Organised by Laragh GAA in partnership with Glendalough AC and Athletics Wicklow, the whole event runs on a not-for-profit basis. Every single entry goes straight back into supporting the local GAA club and the development of trail running across the county. The 20km and 30km also count as UTMB qualifiers and sit within the ITRA National League, while the event doubles as the Athletics Wicklow Off-Road Championship.
